Question: Has anyone ever tried making meatballs with ground turkey or ground chicken!?
I guess just make them like regular meatballs, and use an Alfredo sauce instead of regular spaghetti sauce!? It kind of sounds good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I never make my meat balls or meat loaf with a set recipe and I usually use beef but I have used turkey!. But becasue it is so lean I would add a little turkey or even pork sausage to add a little fat!. So here is what I usually use to make my meat balls!. Everythung gets chopped uo super small of course!.

Sausage- sometimes
Lean hamburger-or ground turkey/chicken even pork
Green bell peppers (reds also if I have them)
Onions
Mushrooms
Green Onions
Eggs
Ketchup
Mustard
B-B-Q sauce-sometimes
teriyaki-more for meat balls
Worcestershire sauce
Dry ingredients of some kinds such as oatmeal, dried out bread, crackers etc!.!.!.!.

You can serve them in alfredo, reg red sauce, sweet and sour sauce, b-b-q etc!.!.!. what ever suites your fancy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've made them and they were quite tasty!. Make sure you add minced onion to your raw meat!. It will help keep them moist, since turkey has minimal fat!. (I also like adding a few handfuls of parmesan cheese)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've made them many times!. You can use them with any sauce you would put on beef meatballs!. They make good meatball sandwiches too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes!. they will be drier and less taste, so up the spices and onion!. also they will stick to the pan so use Olive oil when you cook them!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
