Ok so i have a recipe i want to try but you need cayenne pepper!. All i have is crushed red peppers!.!.!. Could i use that or not!? Whats the taste difference!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Crushed red pepper is fine, but make sure that you rub it between your hands to release the oils in it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can use all kind of hot pepper!.There is a variety of chinese pepper which is the same as taste like cayenne!.I can't remember the name of it but i'm telling you,that's devil!.
