Meals that can be made in advance?!
I've got into the habit of making a meal on a Sunday that can be kept in the fridge until one night in the week when I don't have time to cook, then I can just bung it in the oven and I've got a healthy dinner with minimal effort!. Does anyone have any good recipes for something that will keep in the fridge for a few days and just needs heating in the oven!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Taking some time to cook meals ahead of time is a great way to ensure a great dinner for your family even when you don't have much time!. You may want to be careful for food safety reasons and freeze the meals rather than just refrigerating them!. At Kraftfoods!.com, we have an area dedicated to make ahead/freeze meals that won't take a lot of preparation time!. You can find the "Planning Ahead: Prep & Freeze" meals section here:

Two of my favorites are:
Sauce Parmesan Chicken: Super easy and great to have on hand, as you can cook this straight from the freezer!. http://www!.kraftfoods!.com/kf/recipes/sau!.!.!.
Meatballs: I make batches of meatballs and freeze them for spaghetti, meatball sandwiches, or slice them up for pasta bakes!. http://www!.kraftfoods!.com/kf/recipes/mas!.!.!.

Home made pasties!.
They cook in about an hour!. I do mine at 180c or Gas 4 from a cold oven on my oven timer!.
The ingredients are usually uncooked, eg carrot, onion and potato!. Then whatever takes your fancy!. I usually use the leftovers from the meat on Sunday!. I keep a little gravy back to coat the veg & meat in the pasty!. The pastry is often from the big batch used to make my apple pie too so there is no extra work really
But anything that takes your fancy
We just steam some green veg when they're cooked and tuck in!.
Pastry has a resonable amount of fat in but who says you have to eat all the pastry if the filling is so good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

so like, if you want to make lasagna or something, on sunday you can cook the meat ( as it usually takes the longest,) and freeze it till you need to use itWww@FoodAQ@Com

Make a pit pot of spaghetti sauce (mince, onion, tomato, garlic) and use this to make spag bol, lasagne, canneloni!. Then (if there is any left) just add some kidney beans and chilli powder to make chilli con carne, burritos, jacket potato topping!. I also like to make curry, stew, soups etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
