Answers:
An hour sounds about right if for a grill!. It's on a grill right!? Oh nevermind, oven!. Um, an hour or an hour and a half probably!. Maybe not that long!. check on it constantly to see if it's done if longer than an hour!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't know if this will help but here's a recipe I've tried!.

Oven Barbecued Steaks
2 lbs!. round steak, or blade or chuck
salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup ketchup
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F!.

Arrange steak pieces in small roaster or casserole in 2 or more layers!.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper!. Cover!. Bake in oven for 3 hours!. If roaster
is large, water will be need to be added after 1 hour or so!.

Mix sugar, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce together!. Spoon over and
between meat!. Continue to bake covered for 30 minutes!.

First, I wouldn't recommend using chuck steak or round steak!. They won't work well!. The best steaks to use for this method are 1-1 1/2" thick rib eye steaks or strip steaks!. The method will use both the oven and the top of the stove!.

Step 1: Pre-heat oven to 275 degrees F!.

Step 2: Rub all sides of the steak with olive oil and season with salt (kosher salt or sea salt works best) and freshly ground pepper!.

Step 3: Place steaks on a rimmed sheet pan (or cookie sheet with a rim) and cook in the oven until the internal temperature reaches 95 degrees F (use an instant read thermometer in the thickest part of the steak)!.

Step 4: Heat a skillet (not a non-stick skillet) over medium-high heat and add 1 Tbsp of olive oil!. Cook the steaks on one side until a deep brown crust forms -- about 3-4 minutes!. Flip and repeat on the other side!.

Step 5!. Remove steak to plate and loosely tent with aluminum foil!. Let steak rest for 5-8 minutes!.

Step 6!. While steak is resting, deglaze the pan with about 1/2 cup of white wine or stock (chicken or beef), making sure to scrape all the good brown bits off the bottom of the pan!. Reduce over medium heat until it's volume is half!. Finish by melting 1 Tbsp of butter in the sauce!. Season to taste with salt and pepper!.

Pour over steak and enjoy!!!!!! It's not that much work and the results are astounding!

Try this its so easy!.

Rib Eyes
Soak in Olive Oil over night dusted with Garlic Powder not Garlic Salt!.

don't use salt on uncooked meat it makes it tough!.

Next day add 1/2 cup of Terriyaki Sauce about an 1 hour before cooking!.

I hate broiler pans but there the only way to get a good steak in an oven!. I created my own version of broiler pan!. I use a deep 9x11 pan with a cooling rack over it the kind used to cool cookies or pies on!. they fit perfectly over the pan!.

Broil about 15 minutes a side on the next to the highest rack setting in your oven!. If you can stand the heat prop the oven door open after turning the 1st time!.

Flavors will melt in your mouth!.
