Question: Omelet with only egg whites!. How to do it!?Can i not fry it!? !?

I dunno how to cook, but i wanna make a low fat, low calorie omelet!. (about 200 cals) So how can i do it!? Any ideas!? And can i cook it without frying the egg or is it impossible!?

You can cook it like a normal omelet!. If you want to stay fat use a good non-stick pan and use pam or some other cooking spray over medium heat!. Use a very small amount of cooking spray, it will only at about 10cal!. and make it much easier to cook!. Then simply pour them in the pan!. Wait for bubbles to start to develop then add toppings to one half of it and gently fold it over with a spatula!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Wow, oven is a not a good idea!. But frying is the best way!. Use a little EVOO on the bottom of a non stick pan, literally just a dab, then spread it with a little paper towel much like greasing the bottom of a baking dish!. Even though there is little EVOO in there it works just fine!. Then mix your egg whites with a little milk of your choice and fry away, put what you want in it and fold your desired way!. Omelets can be tricky and if you're not good a cook to begin with your first might not be great looking but it'll be good!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can bake it in the oven but you will need a non-stick baking dish!. steam some veggies (or pan saute in a dab of oil) and then add about 1/2 cup total to two beaten egg whites!. Pour into a non-stick pan about 6 inches round and cook on four hundred until the the omelet is set in the center (about 10 minutes!.)

remove the yokes and poach the whites in water!.

TO remove the yokes(without any cooking skills) Just crack the egg open and put the raw egg in your hand,roll it around with your fingers slighty spread, the white will fall through and you will just have a yoke in your hand!. Dicard or give it to your pet dog, or cat as a treat!.

2 inches of water on a light boil for the whites, cook and strain!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could separate the yolks from the whites and whisk the whites till fluffy!. Add whatever you want (veggies, cheese, meat) and cook in a frying pan for a few minutes the finish it under a broiler!. If you use Pam in the pan (before the eggs), you won't need any other grease!.
