Well, my school had a culinary arts program we were shipped out to during the day, it was funded by the state!.
But in order to start a club, first you'll need permission from your principal, as well as a faculty advisor!. Does your school have a home ec department!? If they do, then the home ec teacher might be willing to let you use their equipement as long as you clean up after yourselves and don't use class food!.
Do fundraisers or bakesales to raise money, you might be able to get a bit of start up from the school or be able to charge yearly dues to your members to get you started and pay for ingredients for a bake sale!.
In our culinary class, we did things like our weekly hamburger sale(we used class money to buy burgers and fries and would sell them to other students and teachers just before and after lunchtime, this is how we raised money for field trips!.
We also did regional cooking where we all picked a country and had to make a complete meal in that style(I chose Ireland, so I did lamb stew and soda bread)
Best breakfast, sandwhich, cookie, dessert, pie competition!.
Cooking with just a microwave, just an oven, just a stove, etc!.
Good luck! Www@FoodAQ@Com
