In baking, is there a difference between using granulated sugar and cane sugar?!

Question: In baking, is there a difference between using granulated sugar and cane sugar!?
I'm having a hard time finding organic granulated sugar and instead have been buying organic cane sugar!. I love to bake, but I am by no means professional nor highly experienced!. Will it make a difference to use the cane sugar when it calls for granulated sugar!? And if so, what is the difference!?
Thanks for your time!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
If your sugar is white and fine grained, you will not experience any differences in cooking with organic cane sugar!. If the crystals are larger or the sugar is unbleached or "turbinado (large crystal)" style sugar, you cannot use it exactly as you would plain white sugar!. Cane sugar is a generic term, how it is processed is what determines the differences between the types!. The unbleached sugar will have a somewhat richer, less-neutral taste because it still contains a small amount of molasses in it, like brown sugar!. Turbinado sugar is much less compact than granulated sugar, so you will have to use more of it in order to get the same amount of sweetness from it!. It will also give a different taste than neutral grain sugar!.

also, as stated earlier all sugar does NOT come from sugarcane!. Quite a lot of the sugar produced today is corn and sugar beet based!. If it does not specifically say "cane sugar" on the bag, it is most likely sourced from something besides sugarcane!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The only difference that I can find about is that it doesn't have any additives!. I think you would use it the same way you do the other!. Check out this site and it will tell you the difference!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There is no difference!. All sugar comes from sugar canes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
