Can I bake cookies directly on parchment paper (I have no cookie sheet/aluminum foil)?!
I'm cooking in my little apartment's kitchen (in a toaster oven, no less)!.
I have to make 48 cookies by tomorrow, and I have no cookie sheet and no aluminum foil!.
Please don't tell me "go to the grocery store!" because I have absolutely no time for that and no cab fare!
So what can I use as a substitution for a cookie sheet!? Anything!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can bake on parchment, but it may not work in a toaster oven because the paper will be so close to the heat source that it may catch fire!. You may also get some burn lines on the bottom where the wire rack hits the bottom of the parchment because you've got no flat metal surface to disperse the heat!. You might experiment by trying to bake a piece of parchment alone and see how it does!. Or put a tortilla or a piece of bread on it and see if you get any strange lines on the bottom!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
If you have a casserole or cake pan that fits the flip em over!.!.!. the bottom of a cake pan flipped over or casserole dish flipped or foil under the paper would, or anything like that would work if it would fit, I think i'd do it if I had to!.!. Make it work GIRL! That paper is made for high temp, just worried about the flemsy part!. You will probably have to change paper between batches!. Maybe lower the heat a few degrease!. Take the oven shelf out everytime when you load it just slide the cooked cookies off with paper and all then lay a new paper down n reload it!.!. and be careful!!! Pick the cookies off after it has set there for a minute or two!. Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
It's definitely worth a try!. Fold the parchment paper up so you have several layers of paper in a cookie sheet size and shape and do a test run!. They may not brown as well and will probably take longer to bake but I see no reason if you fold the paper up thickly enough to support the weight that it shouldn't work!.

Didn't the toaster oven come with a broiler pan!? If it did, just use the bottom of it lined with the parchment paper!. Or ask a neighbor to borrow something to use!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
If you're using a toaster oven, it should have come with some kind of mini cookie sheet type thing!. Just grease it (you might have to reheat between batches)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
i dont tink you can! sorry i would give you one if i could!Www@FoodAQ@Com
i think it might catch on fire!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.
