Is it okay to make chocolate souffle with milk chocolate instead of semi-sweet or bittersweet?!

Question: Is it okay to make chocolate souffle with milk chocolate instead of semi-sweet or bittersweet!?
Answers:
Sure, but milk chocolate's flavor can wash out!.!.!.If you have any bittersweet or semi-sweet, substitute 1/4 of the milk chocolate, so it will have a richer, more intense milk chocolate flavor and a little less sweet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's actually really hard to say!. First of all, milk chocolate is more volatile and prone to screwing up in cooking than other chocolates!. It could lock up on you!.!.!. lots of ways it could go wrong!.

If it doesn't lock up on you, the different flavour and texture and milk fat content of the milk chocolate is going to alter the souffle!.

Souffles are tricky in the first place, so with all these challenges, milk chocolate will make it less likely to be successful!.

I'd say don't chance it, personally, but if you want to see what happens!.!.!. go ahead!.!.!. it could work, but IMO I think it's more likely that it won't!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It may change the taste slightly, but it should still work/taste good!.

Milk chocolate has more sugar, but the slightly extra amount shouldn't be an issue!. If you don't like it then you know to reduce the sugar next time!. Playing around with recipes is what makes cooking fun!Www@FoodAQ@Com

The problem with the milk chocolate in a souffle is going to be the fat content!. The fat from the milk will make it heavier!.!.!.souffles are tricky enough, I wouldn't chance it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes but you will need to reduce the amount of sugar!.!.!.!.just not by much!. Milk chocolate is sweeter thant the other two!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Absolutely!. It will not be as rich but you can do it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yeah definitely!. it might be sweeter than with semi-sweet or bittersweet, but it'll still work!.
great for sweet tooths!Www@FoodAQ@Com
