Can you give me some good slow cooker recipes?!

Answers:
Anything that if cooked normally, tastes better the next day!.

I love cooking bolognaise sauce and chilli in my slow cooker, as well as traditional meat dishes and stews!.

For stews - it's great to do meat on the bones - like chicken thighs/drumsticks, and lamb chop-style cuts!. This way the sauce is really tasty and you don't need to add stock cubes!.

Tagine is very easy to do and tasty cooked in the slow cooker - there are lots of different types, and flavours you can mix, just based on whatever you've got available!. I like to include dates for the sweetness, and fresh ginger and coriander if I have them!. Tagines are also good as you can just do couscous to go with it very quickly!.

Finally, you can do amazing Normandy pork in the slow cooker!. Just follow a normal recipe's list of ingredients, but chuck everything in at the same time in the morning with the exception of any dairy - cream should always be added at the last minute!.

My absolute quickest recipe (running out the door before work! in the morning!) is to throw in skinless chicken thighs with some white wine (instead of water) and a packet of powder roast chicken gravy and two tablespoons of Gravox (sorry dont know other brands of powder gravy in other countries!) Only takes a few minutes to do! If I have more time then I put in some onion, chickpeas, chopped bacon, mushrooms just before serving etc!.!.!.it is so so yummy and smells absolutely fabulous when you walk in the door later in the day! Do some mashed potato and steamed vegies to accompany and you wont look back!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
