Zesty Chicken with Corn Salsa
Add zing to your chicken breasts with chili powder and ground cumin!. From Prevention Healthy Cooking!.
Prep Time:15 min
Start to Finish:30 min
makes:4 servings
serving size:1 Serving
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cumin
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 1/4 lb) cut into pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 can (7 oz) Green Giant? whole kernel sweet corn, drained
1/2 small red bell pepper, chopped
1/2 small cucumber, seeded and chopped
1/2 cup Progresso? red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
3 tablespoons lime juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1!. In cup, combine chili powder, brown sugar and cumin!. Rub both sides of chicken pieces with the spice mixture!.
2!. In large skillet, heat oil over medium heat!. Cook chicken in hot oil 12 minutes, turning occasionally

One chicken meal that I commonly prep!. for myself is CHICKEN TERIAKI!.
This requires a single tephlon-coated frying pan,
a chopping board,
chicken pieces,
fresh veggies,
Ginger oil
and (most importantly) Teriaki seasonings!.
1!.) De-skin the chicken pieces
and throw away the skins!. They contain all the fats and *toxins!.*
2!.) After washing these skinned pieces and pat-drying, season them with dry seasonings (Onion powder, Teriaki seasonings, lemon-pepper!.)
3!.) Heat about 1 1/2 Tbsp Ginger oil (this is healthier!) in the frying pan!.
4!.) Place these chicken pieces (meat-side down) in the heated pan (enough to braise a surface onto the meat!. TURN pieces so they will evenly cook in the pan!.
5!.) Add sliced yellow onions for a sweet flavor to the cooking meat and allow to blend flavors in the pan!.
6!.) Add a small veggie mix to this cooking meal in the pan!.
7!.) Turn down the heat to medium-high temp and STIR on occasion!.
PAR-TWO: Before this ^ is cooking, start a cup of rice in two cups of broiling water (seasoned with 1/8 tsp!. of table salt!.) Cook this rice for 4 minutes and let sit (finish soaking the water and finish coooking!.)
After 2 minutes to let the rice finish "steaming" Serve the rice, topped with the chicken-veggie mix!.

For 500g chicken,
-Cut chicken into regular size pieces
-Fry it off with a little oil and 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder
-Add 1 small carton of single cream and 1 tablespoon of curry powder (more if you like it hot)
-stir together and simmer for 10Min's!.
Serve with basmati rice and Nan bread or why not have it with a Jacket potatoe!

simmer some chicken pieces in a little spice mixture or taco seasoning and a low sodium chicken stock until thoroughly cooked, shred them and make tacos with them!. just add a little chopped lettuce, some tomatoes, maybe some avocado if you like it, sour cream and onionsWww@FoodAQ@Com
sprinkle with seasoning salt (I use lawry's) and bake them in the over at 450 degrees for one hour!. The skin will come out crispy and the chicken will be tender and juicy!Www@FoodAQ@Com
