Question: When you boil eggs, why are there the little bubbles that come from the shell !?

(Im not sure on the spelling but!.!.!.) Osmosis!. The egg is balancing the amount of air and water in it to make an equal proportion!. :) Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's mostly steam forming on the shell from the water around it!. Bubbles form on the surface of the bottom of the pan as well!. If you stick a fork into the water, it will form bubbles!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The egg has tiny holes on the shell so during osmosis it tries to balance the amount of air in the inside with the amount in the outsudeWww@FoodAQ@Com

When egg start to form as cooking , it squeeze out air !.Www@FoodAQ@Com
