Herbed Potato Soup
INGREDIENTS
3 cans diced potatoes
2 cups water
1 large onion, chopped
1/4 cup butter, cubed
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 cups milk



DIRECTIONS
In a saucepan, saute onion butter until tender!. Stir in the flour, salt, thyme, rosemary, and pepper!. Gradually add milk!. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes!. Add potatoes with cans liquid; heat through!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

no I don't have one with canned potatoes but this is the one I use to make mine
2 cups chicken broth
3 med!. potatoes - peeled, cubed
2 green onions - trimmed, sliced
1/2 rib celery - minced
1/4 med!. carrot - grated
2 tsp!. distilled white vinegar
1 tsp!. salt
1 1/2 cups milk mixed with 2 Tbls!. all-purpose flour
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
2-6 strips cooked bacon - crumbled

-Bring first 7 ingredients to boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat!. Cover and simmer over medium-low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally!.
-Whisk the milk/flour mixture into the soup, then stir in cheese and bacon!.
-Simmer, uncovered, 5-8 minutes, or until thick, stirring constantly

best potato soup ever

8 to 10 potatoes ; partially peeled, & chopped
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 medium onion ; chopped
salt/pepper to taste
1 stick butter
1 tsp of garlic powder (use up to 1 tb)
8 oz!. Cream Cheese

Boil potatoes and onions together with just enough water to cover!. Do not drain!. When potatoes are tender, cut in Cream Cheese, take off heat!. Add soups and butter!.
Place in blender & blend!.

Great with 1 whole package of bacon, fried up & cut and as much cheese as you like!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

This recipe can be used for both raw and canned potatoes!. My mom perfers raw, but she told me you can used can ones too!. She gave me this recipe!.

First, put a pan filled about Halfway with water on the stove and turn it to regular boiling temperature!. Now, drain out the canned potatoes!. Cut them into even chunks!. Then, put them into the pot!. Wait until the mixture is boiling and stir them!. When they've boiled for about a minute, turn off the stove!. Put it into a bowl, after it's cooled a bit, and dig in!
