How do you make nacho cheese w/ Velveeta?!
I went to a pot luck once and someone had brought nachos--the nacho cheese sauce being made from Velveeta!. I thought that it was the greatest! So, thinking that all you had to do was melt Velveeta on a stove top, I tried it and it came out very thick and not so great to say the least!.
How do you make nacho cheese with Velveeta, so that it's very smooth and creamy!? You know, the way nacho cheese is suppose to be! :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

nacho cheese has a bit of a kick to it, and you will need something to thin it out and give it that nacho kick, so use your favorite brand of salsa (hot)!. if you really want to kick it up!. add a pound of ground beef (cooked) and a can of refried beans, then let it all melt together and stir!. to finish it add a pack of taco seasoning, it's the best tortilla chip dip
but if you want straight nacho cheese, i would add a bit of water to thin it out and some spices, like taco seasoning and cyanne pepper, and maybe some cumin but there is alot of cumin in taco seasoning so becareful you don't over do itWww@FoodAQ@Com

Chop up the velveeta and then (if possible) put in a crock pot! If you are using a large block, get a jar of salsa and add that with the cubes!. Turn on low and watch it melt!. You need the liquid from the salsa to thin it out!. You can also add COOKED/seasoned hamburger to the mixture!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
THIS IS THE BEST! I make it all the time!
You can cut the Velveeta into cubes and put it in a microwavable bowl!. Pour some salsa (or Rotel tomatoes, they have more flavor) over it!.!.and melt it, stirring along the way!.
You can also do the same in a crock-pot until its all melty!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Melt it in the microwave at just 30 seconds at a time!. Take it out and stir!. When it is almost done, add a little bit of milk!. Make sure you stir it well after you add the milk so that it doesn't burn!. If you want to get really adventurous, add some Rotel crushed tomatoes and peppers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
The party dip I know about is Velveeta, Ro-Tel (which is in the canned veggie section I believe), and ground beef or turkey!. It is VERY tasty!. The Ro-tel thins it out some!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
look at the back of the package or go to their website!.
