I want soup...What kind should I make?!


Question: I want soup!.!.!.What kind should I make!?
I have chicken broth, a whole lotta seasonings like pepper,salt,chives,parsley,orgeano, garlic, etc!.

I also have veggies and meats!. But I wanted something kinda light!. Maybe with some onions in it!? Anyone got any simple delicious soup recipes where I won't be in the kitchen all night!?

I love this one I make it for my restaurant My own Light tortilla soup now yours if you make it!.

cooked chicken - brest is good dark meat is good too your choice
chopped carrots
chopped onions
chopped celery
caned diced tomatoes or fresh chopped
cut corn ( frozen or caned or fresh)
beans caned (I like to use to black beans but navy beans work)
cilantro chopped up must be fresh or use your chives
chicken broth
water if needed
ground cumin or powder
salt and pepper to taste
your choice how much you put in you can not ruin it unless you add to much salt or herbs

boil it up when vegges or tinder chick for salt serve with tortilla chips crushed up and some lime fresh of just some lime juice you can add cheese too or more chopped herbs!.
I love this soup it is dense with veggies not thick with a starch and the Lime just makes it pop!.

Potato soup is the best!.

Simple Potato Soup
2 cups diced potatoes
1 cup[ finely chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green onions
2 teaspoons salt 1 cup milk
1 stick butter
3 cups water
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 clove chopped garlic
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup parsley, optional
In a 4 qt!. pot or casserole dish, melt butter, then sauté onions, celery, green onions and garlic for 10 minutes!. Add potatoes and water!.
Stir, cover and cook until potatoes are tender!. Pour into blender and blend until smooth!. Pour back into dish, add milk, seasonings and parsley!. Reheat about 5 minutes!.


Light Vegetable Soup
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 zucchini, washed and thinly sliced
1 carrot, peeled and thinly sliced
1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
4 cups chicken broth
2 ounces fine egg noodles
2 ounces sugar peas, trimmed
Spray a large saucepan with vegetable cooking spray!. Heat over medium-high heat and add onion, zucchini, carrot and thyme; sauté for 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender-crisp!. Stir in chicken broth, cover and bring to a boil over high heat!. Add pasta and sugar peas!. Return to a boil and cook for 5 minutes or until noodles are tender!.

CHICKEN VELVET SOUP

1/3 cup + 1 TBSP butter
3/4 cup flour
6 cups chicken broth, divided
1 cup milk
1 cup half and half
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 1/2 cups chopped cooked chicken

Melt butter in large Dutch oven over low heat
Add flour
Stir untill smooth
Cook 1 min, stirring constantly
Gradually add 2 cups chicken broth, milk and half and half
Cook over med heat, stirring constantly
untill thicken and bubbly
Stir in salt and pepper
Add remaining broth and chicken
Stir well
Heat throughly
Yield 2 quarts






Tomato Celery Soup
1 sm!. chopped onion
2 tbsp!. butter
1 (10 1/2 oz!.) can tomato soup
1 tsp!. minced parsley
1/2 tsp!. pepper
1/2 c!. finely chopped celery
1 tbsp!. lemon juice
1 tsp!. sugar
1/4 tsp!. salt
1 can water

Saute onions and celery in butter, do not brown!. Add tomato soup, water, lemon juice, sugar, salt and pepper!. Simmer 5 minutes!. Celery will remain crisp!. Top with unsweetened whipped cream and chopped parsley

Veggie soup:
a quarter of an onion
2 stalks of celery
a couple mushrooms
S&P
some garlic, chopped
Ginger
Cilantro if you have any
make sure to put in the mushrooms first
Water

chicken broth
carrots
onions
celery

Chicken noodle soup is perfect when you aren't feeling right!. Chicken broth, chicken, onions, carrots, and noodles!. S & P to taste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just toss your favorite veggies together with either canned tomatoes or bouillon and what ever meat you want and bring to a boil than cover and turn down heat an cook till all is tender!. great way to use up leftovers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
