Is spaghetti squash a starch?!

Question: Is spaghetti squash a starch!?
I'm just wondering, because when I eat starchy things (like potatoes and corn) I suffer from an insulin crash!.
It's not starchy like a potato, is it!?

Is it really healthy!? Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
It's got some starch, but not like potatoes or corn!. It's a good vegetable substitute for a starch because it's got a nice texture, mild flavor, and can be seasoned with butter and salt, marinara sauce, or even a nice lemon sauce with capers and diced tomato!.

It's also high in fiber, which will help fend off insulin spikes!. Loaded in vitamins!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

One serving of spaghetti squash has about 8 grams of carbohydrates!.!. while it wouldn't be like a super-low-carb item, it's still a very healthy choice, and very tasty, I might add!. Try mashing it like they do at Koo-Koo-Roo, and it could be a great potato replacement!. You shouldn't experience an insulin crash from a serving or so of the squash!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

no squash isn't a starch its just a veggieWww@FoodAQ@Com
