We use these a lot at work to garnish ice creams and other desserts - they're delicious and so easy to make - you just have to move fast!
They spread a little as they cook, so leave space!. If you leave them on the tray, they'll firm up flat, otherwise you can lay them over tins or glasses to shape them!.
INGREDIENTS
100g Softened butter
100g Icing sugar
110g Egg whites
80g Flour
METHOD
1!. Cream the butter in a bowl and work in the icing sugar until smooth!.
2!. Finally add and mix in the flour!.
3!. Bake at 160’C until just golden on the edges!.
4!. Shape as desired (if you're shaping them don't do too many at a time as they dry fast)
If they dry before you can shape them, pop them back in the oven to soften them up
Tuille paste can be kept in the ‘fridge for a week!.
