Highest and best use for sour cream: Stroganoff
You need
Beef, thinly sliced and cut into bite sized pieces
Mushrooms, also sliced
Fresh garlic, crushed
Salt
Pepper (optional)
Italian seasoning (optional)
Red wine
Egg noodles
SOUR CREAM

Boil your egg noodles, drain and set aside!. While this is going on, cook your sliced beef and crushed garlic in a large skillet on medium high heat, stirring as you go, until the beef is cooked through!. Add a splash or two of red wine and scrape the bottom of the pan as you stir, and then add the mushrooms!. Once the mushrooms are cooked, taste the liquid in the pan and season with salt, more garlic, pepper, or italian seasoning, as needed!. Take the pan off the heat and stir in your sour cream!.
