Craig's reply is very good!.
Tilapia is a very tender fish, easily overcooked!. I'd filet it and bake or grill the filets, natural or battered!.
I love it filets breaded like a Wiener Schnitzel!.
next time ask the fish monger to do it for you - they will and can do it with their eyes closed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i remember you saying your husband was moroccan!. i was watching a show the other day where they prepared a moroccan inspired tilapia dish, its pan fried!. here is a video clip from the episode :

but if you wanna try a different way to serve it, i like to sautee mine in a pan with lemon juice, olive oil, garlic and capers!. the fish is so delicate and these flavors seem to complement it really well!.

It's difficult to fry a whole fish without overcooking the outside and undercooking the inside!. If you really want to fry it, Splay it out like a butterfly to make it thinner!.

Better to bake it!. You can stuff it if you like!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Fry it with butter, then add garlic and onion powder, and make some sort of sauce to go with it i guass!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
