How do you cook beef liver?!

Question: How do you cook beef liver!?
Answers:
There are 2 ways to prepare it, learned both of these in Japan!. The first is to cut into small bite-sized pieces and stir fryed with soy sauce, scallions and bean sprouts!. The other is called Yakitori!. You make little kabobs of the liver and dip in a teriyaki type sauce and grill!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A lot of people say to soak it in milk for a while before you cook it but I've tried it this way and don't notice any difference!.
Rinse liver, pat dry!. Season w/ onion and garlic powders, salt and pepper!. Dredge lightly in flour and fry in oil (bacon grease is the very best if you have it), cook on med-high til lightly brown on both sides!. The liver should be ever so slightly pink on the inside!. I like to fry onion slices in the same pan afterwards til caramelized, then add a touch of water to finish cooking and create a "sauce"!. Serve it w/something sweet (like corn) to counter the somewhat bitter taste liver has!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

blahh!. i hate it (sryy :] )

but my mom used to make me eat it anyway!. i once saw her cook it!.
you take the liver and fry it in a nonstick pan!. the liver has its own fat, so you dont need to add oil!. but to prevent it from sticking, use a nonstick spray!. fry it, and in a seperate pan, sautee onions!.the liver is done when theres no more blood coming out !.to make sure that its done, cut it in half!. it shouldnt be pink!. place onions on top and youre done Www@FoodAQ@Com

Slice thin and dredge in flour and salt and pepper and fry, browning both sides!. When well browned, layer sliced onions over all, cover tightly and braise in its own juices for 20-30 minutes on low till onions are tender and liver is done!. you may need to add a bit of water or broth if the onions do not produce enough liquid of their own!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i hated the stuff growing up but Mom used to fry baon and then saute onions in the bacon grease and then fry the liver!. The end result was fried liver, onions and bacon!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
