Does boiling colored pasta color the water?!


Question: Does boiling colored pasta color the water!?
I just boiled colored pasta and the water turned yellowish!.!. is that normal!? I want to make sure nothing else got in the water before I eat the pasta!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
