Recently moved to a high altitude, need help finding recipe website for high altitude cooking?!

Question: Recently moved to a high altitude, need help finding recipe website for high altitude cooking!?
when I lived in Indiana I used to LOVE to cook:
I made ribs and bbq chicken and stuffed peppers and meatloaf cupcakes with mashed potato frosting!.

But recently I moved to Colorado, and I'm up high in these mountains!.
The first week after I moved here I tried to warm up a frozen pizza and I burned it, ever since then I'm scared to try and make a meal that takes more effort because I'm scared to burn it!.
I keep looking for the high-altitude recipe variations for stuffed peppers and meatloaf cupcakes but I can't seem to find them anywhere!

can anyone help me out with this!?
thanksWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Things actually cook slower here in Colorado!. So I would make sure that the oven rack is in the center of the oven and maybe reduce heat a bit and increase time and check!.

On the stuffed peppers and meatloaf cupcakes I cannot imagine why you would have trouble with these things!. Just try cooking them longer and lower temp and see how that works out!.

The things that baffled me were you really need to presoak beans a whole 12 hrs before turning on the crockpot to make chile!.!. or they will never get done lol!.

There are also usually directions on cake mixes etc for high altitude adjustments that should help you!.

Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have lived at almost 8,000 feet my whole life and have never used the high altitude directions and everything works just fine!. The pizza burning may just be a problem getting used to a new oven!. I never knew there were high altitude directions for pizza anyway!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try this site!.!.!.it will give you the proper adjustments for cooking in high altitude!.
