Soft cookie tips:

use brown sugar it's moister than white

cool your dough before cooking, which results in the cookies spreading more slowly in the oven allowing the oven's heat to "set" the cookie while it is still thick and this makes a chewier cookie!.

measure your flour correctly, adding more flour to a recipe to produce a thick chewy cookie won't work !. Too much flour will make the cookie, firm, dry and tough

Bake cookies on light colored cookie sheets - dark cookie sheets will cause cookies to brown too quickly and cook too fast

Under-bake them by just a few minutes!. They should still look pretty soft and just barely browned around the edges!. Just let them sit on the sheet, out of the oven, for about 10 minutes before moving them off to a wire rack so they can firm up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

when they're still a bit soft in the middle take them out, they will set after a few minutes!. they continue by carry over cooking from there internal temperature!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You may need to remove them from the oven earlier!. They will cook some more after you remove them simply because they are still hot when removed from the oven!.

Keep trying! ;)Www@FoodAQ@Com

only let edges barely start to brown, then get them out, middle will look gooey at first, like it's not quite done but as it sits five minutes or so it finishes cooking

you are overbaking themWww@FoodAQ@Com

When baking cookies, just keep them in the oven then you usually do or always check the cookies so they won't get hardWww@FoodAQ@Com

add more eggs!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
