Answers:
As frugal as I can get!.!.!.!.

Make a pot of rice (2 cups water to 1 cup rice is my amount)

1 round steak cut into strips, or 1 pound hamburger

1 can tomato sauce

1/2 onion

1 clove garlic

1 1/2 cans water

1/2 jalapeno pepper, remove seeds (a whole one if you love hot)

Cook meat with onion and garlic in very little oil, until tender!.
(I start it when it's still partially frozen so it has some moisture)

When meat is almost done, add in tomato sauce, water and the jalapeno that has been diced!.

Let all of it simmer until it thickens!.

Serve over rice with tortillas

***if you're making alot and double the meat, be sure to double the tomato sauce and water, etc!.****Www@FoodAQ@Com

Random Fruit Muffins

Get a blueberry muffin recipe (they're nearly all the same)!. Swap the vegetable oil for cheap melted butter or marg of the same quantity, take the blueberries out and swap for whatever fruit you have (e!.g glace cherries, raisins, strawberries)!.!.!. etc!. If you do this, you don't have to pay for vegetable oil and you can make a whole range of different muffins out of things in your cupboard!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Bread pudding hon! Always a good way of getting rid of your bread that has gone a bit stale!.!.!. tastes delicious too - I've got one in the oven as we speak lol :o)xxxxx Here goes:

Spaghetti, cheese & tomato!. For two ;

1 can Heinz spaghetti
2 big tomatoes, sliced thin ( or a can, if you're really lazy!)?
A GRATED slab of cheese (I prefer a tangy Red Leicester, or something with a zing, but honestly, any old cheddar will do, at a pinch)

Just place layer upon layer alternately, - on top of each other in a casserole and heat in a hot oven till bubbling!.!.

If you want to make it a Banquet instead of a Feast, put a couple of semi-baked bread-rolls in the oven too, and eat them with it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
