Question: Have you ever tried venison!?
oh its my new fave meatWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Yes!. My friend makes Venison Jerky and sends it to me too!. That's REALLY good!Www@FoodAQ@Com

As a former chef I have done it form many countrys and also have done caribou, musk ox, moose and elk!. All are similar and I used farmed meats not wild, you are able to interchange the cooking methods and can use the same techniques as with beef!.

I would recommend medium for some cuts (racks, ribs and tender cuts)and if you do stews or braises, shank or hind (Round or Chuck cuts in beef cattle), and there are so many ways to prepare the meat, from BBQ to roasting and briased like stews and pot roasts!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

What a suitable name you have! Venison is very tasty and very low in fat!. Needs to be cooked properly and very slowly for some cuts!. Great for casseroles, pies etc as good deep flavour!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i have eaten, venison sausages and young venison steaks from where i work, as well as venison steaks from tesco's!. a good meat to try, full of flavor and well worth trying!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yup all the time tesco online and marks and spencers do great venison burgers otherwise the fillets go on sale at tesco from time to time, with duck breasts too, i think they do it to get you addicted then hike the price again ;)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, it's very nice!. Too expensive to eat regularly but worth it as an occasional treat!. It works well to create very rich burgers and sausages too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
