Roast Lamb Shanks!.

Colour 4 Lamb Shanks in some oil in a frying pan and transfer to an oven dish!. (one at a time)
Drain pan and de- glaze using a little water and get all those pieces that remain and add some stock or stock cubes!.
Pour stock over shanks and cover, place in a hot oven!. (preheated to maximum)
When the oven regains temperature, cut back the heat to 165C!. (320F)
Cook for about an hour, turning the shanks a couple of times!.
Serve with bottled mint sauce or make your own, or gravy!.

Blueberry Pancake Cookies
1/4 cup butter, softened
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 1/2 cups pancake mix
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
Cream butter and sugar together in large mixing bowl!. Beat in egg, mixing well!. Stir in pancake mix and pecans!. Fold in blueberries!.
Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheets and bake for 12 minutes at 350*F (175*C)!. Cool on wire racks!.
Makes about 2 dozen cookies!.

2 1/2 cups Krusteaz Buttermilk Pancake Mix
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 egg
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F!.
In medium bowl, stir together pancake mix and remaining ingredients until dough forms!. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface!. Roll out dough and fold in half; turn one quarter turn and roll to 1/2-inch thickness!. Cut with 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter!. Place biscuits side by side with edges touching onto ungreased baking sheet!.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown!. Serve warm!.
VARIATIONS:
CHEDDAR BISCUITS:
Prepare buttermilk biscuits as directed, adding 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese and 1 teaspoon dry mustard!. Bake as directed!.
SOUR CREAM AND DILL BISCUITS:
Prepare buttermilk biscuits as directed, substituting 1/2 cup sour cream for the water and adding 1 teaspoon dried dill weed!. Bake as directed!.
DROP BISCUITS:
Prepare buttermilk biscuit dough as directed!. Drop dough by heaping tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheet!. Bake at 425 degrees F 10-12 minutes!.

1 slightly beaten egg
1/2 c!. granulated sugar
1/4 c!. cooking oil
1 1/2 c!. pkg!. pancake mix
In a small bowl stir together brown sugar and sour cream; stir in pecans!. Set aside!. Mash bananas!. In a medium mixing bowl stir together egg, granulated sugar, oil, and mashed bananas until well blended!. Add pancake mix, stirring just until moistened!. Grease muffin cups or line with paper bake cups; fill 2/3 full with batter!. Drop 1 teaspoon of the pecan mixture atop each muffin!. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown!. Makes 12 muffins!.

Dulce De Leche Cheesecake
Dulce De Leche:
1 quart whole milk
2 cups sugar
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 pinch cinnamon
Cheesecake:
8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup dulce de leche
SAUCE: Combine ingredients in a large heavy saucepan!.
Place over medium heat and cook without stirring until mixture boils, 15 to 20 minutes!. Briefly remove from heat!.
Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring frequently with a wooden spoon, 45 minutes to 1 hour!.
When the mixture becomes a caramel color and is think enough that you can see the bottom of the pan as you stir, remove it from heat!. Use at room temperature or cover and refrigerate!. Yield: 2 cups
CHEESECAKE: Preheat oven to 325 degrees!.
Place cream cheese in a food processor and process until soft!. With the machine running, drop in eggs, followed by heavy cream, vanilla then dulce de leche!. Place the mixture in 9 inch pie dish!. Put the dish in a large pan and add hot water until it comes halfway up the side of pie dish!.
Place in the oven and bake about an hour or until cake tester comes out clean and top is fairly firm!.
Let rest one hour, then serve at once, or refrigerate, but remove from refrigerator one half- hour before servingWww@FoodAQ@Com

Red Lobster Biscuits- Cheese and Garlic Biscuits
2 ? cups Bisquick or biscuit baking mix
? cup cold milk
4 tablespoons cold butter (1/2 stick)
? teaspoon garlic powder
1 ? cups grated cheddar cheese
Bush on Top:
4 tablespoons butter, melted
? teaspoon dried parsley flakes
? teaspoon garlic powder
pinch salt
Directions:
1!. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees!.
2!. Combine Bisquick with cold butter in a medium bowl using a pastry cutter or a large fork!. You don't want to mix too thoroughly!. There should be small chunks of butter in there that are about the size of peas!. Add cheddar cheese, milk, and ? teaspoon garlic!. Mix by hand until combined, but don't over mix!.
3!. Drop approximately ?-cup portions of the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet using an ice cream scoop!.
4!. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes or until the tops of the biscuits begin to turn light brown!.
5!. When you take the biscuits out of the oven, melt 2 tablespoons butter is a small bowl in your microwave!. Stir in ? teaspoon garlic powder and the dried parsley flakes!. Use a brush to spread this garlic butter over the tops of all the biscuits!. Use up all of the butter!. Makes one dozen biscuits!.

2 to 2 1/4 c!. flour
1 pkg!. dry yeast
1 tbsp!. sugar
2 tbsp!. olive oil or cooking oil
1 egg yolk
1 egg white
1 1/2 tsp!. salt
1/4 c!. warm water
In large bowl, combine 1 cup flour, yeast, sugar, and salt!. Combine warm water, oil, and egg yolk!. Add to large bowl!. Beat at low speed with electric mixer until blended!. Beat 3 minutes at high speed!. By hand, stir in enough flour to make a soft dough!. Knead until smooth!. Shape into a ball; cover and refrigerate 3 to 4 hours or overnight!. Divide into 16 equal parts!. Cover; let rest 10 minutes!. Roll each piece of dough to form rope 14 inches long!.
Place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet!. Add 1 tablespoon water to egg whites; beat until frothy!. Brush over dough!. Let rise in warm place (45 to 60 minutes)!. Brush again with egg mixture; sprinkle coarse salt!. Bake 425 degrees for 10 minutes!. Makes 16!.

1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
6 eggs
1 1/3 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups all purpose flour
3/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Preheat the oven to 350!. Spray a 9x13 inch baking pan lightly with non stick cooking spray Line the bottom with parchment paper!. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper!. Set aside!.
In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine the melted butter, granulated and brown sugars, vanilla, and eggs!. Beat well on the lowest speed!. In a medium bowl, hand whisk the cocoa, flour, baking soda, and salt together!. Fold into the batter and blend well with the mixer, stopping once or twice to scrape the bottom of the bowl!. Fold in the nuts!. Pour into the prepare pan!. Smooth the top with a wet knife or metal spatula!.
Place the pan onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until set and slightly firm, but not dry!. Let cool completely on a wire rack, then freeze for 1 hour!. Unmold and peel off the parchment paper!. Cut into squares, roughly 2 1/2x2 1/2 inches!. Wrap each in waxed paper and keep frozen or refrigerated!. To serve for a party, piles the brownies onto a platter and dust with powdered sugar!.

Throw in one can of Campbell's Cream of Chicken soup
I like to toss in some onions (optional)
Add halved chicken breasts on top
and sprinkle lots of grated cheese on top
