Sweet Pumpkin soup hellppp?!
Help!!!!!
In search of a Pumpkin Soup recipe that is sweet!.
I'm looking for a recipe that is just soup, with no chunks of other stuff!.
I had a wonder full Pumpkin Soup that was sweet, had cinnamon, maybe brown sugar, no onions or such!. It was consistency with what a thick tomato soup would be!. I can't seem to find any recipes that seem to match this!.
Anyone with such a recipe!?
Thanks

From a professional cooks perspective this is what i would do!.!.!.
You could take canned pumpkin and combine it with either cream, milk or soy milk depending on what you would like!. Heat it gently to a light simmer in a stock or sauce pot and then hit it up with whatever spices and flavorings you would like!. Cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar and that kind of stuff would all work well!.
Once its simmered for awhile you might want to hit it with an immersion blender (it;s a big, fancy blender that looks like a wand) or just blend it by small batches in your home blender till it's a smooth and creamy consistency!.
Or, if you were feeling adventurous you could buy a whole pumpkin, scoop out the good stuff inside, roast it with some brown sugar, maybe a little butter or whatever substitute you like then throw that in the pot instead of the canned stuff!.
Whatever you decide to do, its going to take a little expererimenting!. It seems to me like two cans of pumpkin with about a half gallon of milk would work out to a decent consistency but I can't say for sure!.
Hope this helps!Www@FoodAQ@Com
