Question: My husband wants Blackened Redfish!? Louisiana style!? he tried it at our local fair HELP!?
he LOVED this and i want to try to duplicate the recipe if i can but i didnt see it that night so idk what it looks like or anything! and i dont personally even like fish so idk how to cook fish or what kind of fish Blackened Redfish is lol!. someone said halibut and someone else said red snapper!. please tell me what kind of fish it was and how to make it!. he said it had onions and peppers in it too!. any recipes you could throw my way!? id love to surprise my man! thanks!

This will work with about any fish!.!. down south we use a lot of catfish for this! Use talapia, mahi, snapper, bass,

Make your own seasonings or buy the prepared in the spice section of the grocery store:
Blackened Fish Seasoning Ingredients
1 tb Paprika 1 ts Cayenne pepper
2 1/2 ts Salt 3/4 ts White pepper
1 ts Onion powder 3/4 ts Black pepper
1 ts Garlic powder 1/2 ts Thyme, dried
1/2 ts Oregano, dried
Mix and rub on oiled or buttered raw fish!.!. Fry in a very hot oiled skillet or griddle!. Keep the heat very hot!. Cook about 4 to 6 min!. per side!.!. Saute sliced onion(red or white) and sliced peppers in seperate skillet on med!. with butter till tender!.!.Add a bit of the seasoning to it!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
