HELP! My cookies keep coming out raw!?!

Question: HELP! My cookies keep coming out raw!!?
I bought a tub a toll house cookie dough!. Today I'm going to a party, and I decided to bake some cookies!. I followed the directions, 350 degrees oven, spoonful of dough, 9-11 minutes, but they still come out with the middle of the cookie raw!.

What am I doing wrong!?

Thanks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Cook them a few minutes longer at 300 deg so as not to burn them
Best to experiment with 1 or 2 first so you don't waste too much batter!. Try making your own from scratch!. That's the best way!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Let the oven heat up 5 minutes before putting the cookies in!. Make the cookie dough into small sections and I would bake them for at least 15 min and then take a butter knife and poke it lightly in the middle if it comes out with cookie dough on it then you need to put it back into the oven for another 2-3 min!. If you put the butter knife in the middle of the cookie and the knife comes out clean then the cookies are ready!. Good luck baking!Www@FoodAQ@Com

the thermometer in your oven may be off, and so you need to cook the cookies longer, or at a higher temperature!. also it's important to note that choc chip cookies usually are soft in the middle when they first come out of the oven, but when they cool, they harden up, but still remain chewyWww@FoodAQ@Com

Did you preheat the oven!?

If you did, try leaving them in there longer!.

My new houses's oven is retarded, so when a recipe says "10 minutes" I actually have to leave them in there for like 20!.

I don't think you are doing anything wrong!. Do you preheat the oven first!? You can't put them in a cold oven and then turn it to 350, your cookies will come out raw!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Preheat your oven to 375, that is the perfect temperature for baking cookies!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pre heat the oven!. I don't think he dough has to be thawed!. If that doesn't work, buy an oven thermometer and measure you oven temp!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Is the dough thawed!? Did you preheat your oven!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

just make them smaller!. screw what the directions say! :]Www@FoodAQ@Com
