I love making things like this!. I usually start with a big platter and in the middle I set a stemmed piece, like a water goblet, sundae dish, or even a martini glass!. I fill the stemmed piece with a mix of mozzarella balls, marinated artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, some kind of mild peppers and a couple different kind of olives!. Then I start filling in with the cheeses!. I like a couple varieties of swiss, colby or colbyjack,a hot pepper cheese, I like to get a mix of colors!. These cheeses are good and inexpensive!. Adding a wedge of brie and some smoked cheese would be nice maybe a little Havarti!. I like to have a few grapes of different colors and some times apple slices too!. You can soak the apple slices in Sprite so they won't oxidize and turn brown!. When you are shopping don't be shy about asking for a taste of several cheeses so you know what you are getting and what you like!.Enjoy and have fun! (Don't forget some crusty bread slices!)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Grapes go great with cheese, and the selection all depends on the variety of your guests!. I LOVE having pepper jack cheese and cheddar at all times!. Crumbly cheese like blue and feta are not good choices!. You could also add in a cheese spread with a baguette or some mozarella balls!. My best advice would be to go to the market and just see what's in stock!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sharp cheddar, Swiss or Grueye, Edam or Gouda, smoked provolone, colby and monteray jack are all good cheeses for cubes or wedges!. Just buy wedges and cut them yourself!. Grapes, apple and pear slices are always good with cheese and of course crackers and bread!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here are some cheeses that I love to serve:

5 year aged gouda
piave
petite basque (delicious w/ strawberry or raspberry preserves)
manchego
brie or triple cream
stilton

These can be served with candied/spiced nuts, dried fruit and grapes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

White cheddar, Swiss, provolone, mozzarella, feta, asiago!. I don't know really!. Those are all those the cheeses I like,Www@FoodAQ@Com
