Question: Anyone have a favorite salad recipe!? Please share!?
Mine is cooked chicken breast (preferably roasted) cut up and either Haas or Fuerte avocado, crisp bacon and Good Season's Italian dressing made fresh, it is INCREDIBLE!.
This is the one I'm making next;

Japanese Sunomono Salad
This dish serves as a great accompaniment to most Japanese meals!. Sunomono translates into English roughly as vinegared food!. The following recipe is both light and refreshing!. It is particularly good to eat in the hot summer months!.

Ingredients:

100 g Dried Harusame Noodles
200 g Crab Meat [I love the Phillips brand]
1 English Cucumber
1 Small Carrot
1 Small Ginger Root
1 Small Japanese Daikon Radish

Marinade:
100 ml Seasoned Rice Vinegar [Marukan or Mitsukan]
15 ml Sake
dash Soy Sauce [Kikkoman or Yamasa]
dash Sesame Oil

Step 1
Mix all marinade ingredients and set aside!.

Step 2
Boil noodles — 3 minutes — stirring occasionally then rinse well with cold water and drain!.

Step 3
Drain crab meat!.
Slice thinly crosswise 10 pieces of English cucumber!.
Shred 1/2 cup carrots [I love using my katsura muki-ki for this]!.
Grate finely 2 tsp ginger root!.
Shred 1/2 cup Japanese radish [Use your katsura muki-ki for this too]!.

Step 4
Combine all ingredients and toss well while adding the marinade!.

Step 5
Garnish with lemon wedges and wakame seaweed if desired!.

Step 6
Serve chilled!.

Answers:
Corn Chip Salad with Honey Mustard Dressing

1 head of lettuce
2 plum tomatoes
1 small red onion
1 cucumber
thin strips of 1 carrot (I use a peeler)
1 cup of fruit (apple, peach, pomegranate, orange, mango - etc)
1 small package corn chips
optional - 1/2 cup dried cranberries

dressing:
2 tbs!. mustard
1 tbs!. mayonnaise
1 tbs!. honey OR brown sugar
1 tbs!. vinegar

I like getting spinach leaves, cutting up slivers of cheese, slivered almonds, slicing up dates and throwing them in, a bit of red onion, tomato, pear and strawberry even (I sort of alternate between the fruits)!. And for a dressing, I get some mayonnaise, vinegar, salt and pepper and mix it together then throw it on!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

ours is simple and easy and made it ourselves- there's no name to it!.!.!.

ingredients:
>one diced tomato;
>one onion sliced thinly;
>blocks of cheese;
>spinach leaves;
>wasabi peas*

dressing:
>one cup of mayo;
>one heaped teaspoon of mustard seeds;
>one teaspoon of lemon juice;
>a few teaspoons of vinigar (i prefer balsamic)!.

Well yours sounds yummy! I'll try it maybe tomorrow!
You might like mine:
6 big potatoes, boiled and chopped in big cubes!.
2 cups of corn
3 cans of tuna
2 cups mayo
1 cup ketcup
salt, pepper,paprika

Mix all ingredients besides potatoes in a big bowl until the mix has a light pink colour, the add the potatoes and mix again!. Put some plastic membrane on the bowl and put it in the fridge for an hour!.
You can enjoy it as a side dish, main dish!. It is absolutely great also if you mash it like purre!. Just do it with a fork or toss it in the blender!. It is super easy(you just have to boil the potatoes), cheap, consumed cold(don't warm it up,not good) it doesn't go bad for more than 4 days in the fridge and above all!.!.!. IT IS SUPER TASTY!!

here is mine;
Caesar Salad Supreme - VERY VERY delicious!!

6 cloves garlic, peeled
3/4 cup mayonnaise
5 anchovy fillets, minced
6 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon lemon juice
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
1/4 cup olive oil
4 cups day-old bread, cubed
1 head romaine lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces

Mince 3 cloves of garlic, and combine in a small bowl with mayonnaise, anchovies, 2 tablespoons of the Parmesan cheese, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and lemon juice!. Season to taste with salt and black pepper!. Refrigerate until ready to use!.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat!. Cut the remaining 3 cloves of garlic into quarters, and add to hot oil!. Cook and stir until brown, and then remove garlic from pan!. Add bread cubes to the hot oil!. Cook, turning frequently, until lightly browned!. Remove bread cubes from oil, and season with salt and pepper!.
Place lettuce in a large bowl!. Toss with dressing, remaining Parmesan cheese, and seasoned bread cubes!. and YUM!
