Help! Recipe to cook for approx. 15-20 college kids?!
I volunteered to cook a meal for a college fellowship at our church!. It's designed to bring the kids into a family environment, feed them a home-cooked meal, and fellowship!.
I'm looking for a nice hearty recipe that preferably can be done up in a large casserole, crock pot, or stew-pot!. I realize I may need to double or even triple, so feel free to give me recipes that feed smaller numbers, but just tell me how much it serves!.
I appreciate your suggestions!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I know here at a Baptist fellowship once a month, they get the family size lasagnas or make spaghetti!. Occasionally they have garlic toast and such!.!.!. I cannot stress enough how much it doesn't really matter to a college kid what they are being fed, because a change from any cafeteria I've ever eaten in is a welcome change!. I don't have the recipe either, but you may look at baked chicken spaghetti!. It's the bomb, and it's fairly easy to make!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I work at a university!. I often bring leftovers from home!. The one that gets the most comments from students going by me is homemade meatloaf, mashed potatoes and a veggie!.
also, consider that you may have some vegetarians coming!. Try to have something that they can top their potatoes with, extra veggies or a variety of them!.
As for dessert, at our church gatherings we always have apples and cookies!. They eat the cookies and take the apples for a snack later!. They love it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My husband and I fed the youth at our church last fall and we made big pots of chili and served it over spaghetti noodles!. Go to your local Wal-Mart or Krogers and get Carl Shelby Chili Mix and follow the directions!. I am not sure where you live but it shouldn't cost you more then 20-25 dollars!. Quick and easy and good! Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
The easiest way to accomplish this especially for college kids is to order pizza!
