I'm making my first roast and need help :-) ?!

Question: I'm making my first roast and need help :-) !?
So, I've got a 3-lb roast in the crockpot on high!. I also have a cup of water and a packet of Lipton Onion soup mix in there too!.

When do I add the vegetables!? Should I peel the carrots before adding them!? also, will it be flavorful enough with just the onion soup mix!?

Thanks!!! Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Your roast will have plenty of flavor from the soup packet!. Yes, peel your carrots and cut them into chunks, and quarter your potatoes!. Put the vegetables in the last two hours of cooking in the crockpot and you will have a delicious meal!.

P!.S!. After your roast and vegetables are done, take them out of the crockpot and add 1 can cream of mushroom soup!. Stir until smooth!. This will give you a good gravy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I always put the veggies in first!.!.!.of course I always cook my roast on low!. Hard root vegetables take longer in the crockpot than the meat does, so I always put the potatoes and carrots in the bottom and the meat on top!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I put the carrots in with the roast at the beginning and the potatoes in with 4 or 5 hours until serving time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Call me in time so I can wash up before it's done!. What time do we eat!? Www@FoodAQ@Com
