Put about 1 - 2 tablespoons of oil into a pot, (the pot must have a secure lid to it) then put a few popcorn kernels into the oil!. Put the pot onto the stove on middle to high heat!. When you hear the kernels pop, put 3/4 cup of popcorn into the hot oil and close the lid!. Shake the pot around a bit, then when the popping starts, keep shaking the pot, so that the popcorn doesn't burn!. When the popping has almost completely stopped, that the pot off of the stove, salt and/or season the popcorn and enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com
I use a cast iron skillet and any lid that will fit it!. Heat the pan and add 1 or 2 tablespoons of regular vegetable oil or canola oil!. Drop in one or two kernels of corn and cover, when you hear them pop, open the lid and pour in about 1/4 c pop corn kernels and cover pan!. Cook and shake pan until popping slows down and then remove from heat!. Pour into a large bowl!. Melt 4 tablespoons butter in same cast iron skillet, stir in seasoning salt to taste and pour over popcorn!. Toss lightly and then sprinkle with a couple of tablespoons of dried Parmesan cheese!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Canola oil!. Use a large pot with a lid so the pops don't fly out!. Keep shaking the pan back and forth and side to side so the unpopped kernels filter to the bottom!. DO NOT PUT TOO MUCH IN!. When starting out, use only a little to see how much space the popped corn takes up!. Pop covered until the frequency of the popping sound dies down, being careful to not hold on the heat too long or it will burn some of it!. Pour melted butter over it in the serving bowl and salt to taste using fine Popcorn Salt, not regular salt!. Regular salt is too coarse and will seem like chewing sand!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Use corn oil or peanut oil if you have it!. Otherwise, Crisco or other light oil!. Season with real butter and a little salt!.
