Question: Does anyone have a recipe for 15 people!?
I'm cooking for my English Department and need an inexpensive lunch recipe for 15 of my teachers!. It needs to be practical to transport and I'm cooking on a budget!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Baked Ziti would probably be the most inexpensive dish and you can also make a loaf of garlic bread!.

pork roast (about a 7lb roast, usually 1!.50 to 2!.50/lb), shred it up, get some buns, and some condiments like bbq sauce, Miracle whip, mustard
Rub the pork roast with a rub of chili powder, garlic mrs!. dash, and seasoning salt and wrap tightly in foil!. Cook in the oven for 3 to 4 hours turning it every half hour on 275!. Shred it, throw it in a crock pot, and put it in the fridge, in the morning add about an inch of water to the bottom of the crock pot (to keep it from drying out) grab your buns and condiments and head off to school, plug it in when you get there on low, will be ready by lunch!. Grab some chips or a bag of salad mix and dressing to complete the meal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have 10-12 friends over about once a month for a get-together!. The most popular meal I've made is braised chicken thighs and drumsticks!. I buy family packs of chicken thighs and drumsticks when on sale!. You can get A LOT of food cheaply that way!. At one dinner I had 24 pieces of chicken for under $8!.

For preparation, I brown all the chicken on the stovetop in two Dutch ovens!. After draining any grease that has collected, I put twelve pieces in each pot and add a jar of slow cooking sauce!. Williams-Sonoma has a GREAT variety of sauces!. Cover the Dutch ovens and put them in the oven at 325 degrees for 1!.5 hours!. The chicken falls off the bone and is very tasty!.

Great served with rice, and there is usually some sauce in the pot to put over the rice!. also serve with roasted vegetables!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If there is no way of reheating in oven then make sandwich trays!. Buy brown, white, whole and cracked wheat bread make tuna,egg salad,ham and cheese use lettuce and other lunch meats (no tomatoes they go soggy!. cut into 4 pieces also make a veggie tray with cut up cauliflower broccoli, cucumber, carrots, sweet pepper slices and celery use a ranch or Cesar dressing from store and empty into a bowl for veggie dip!. Make some pasta with a nice sauce!. Go to the store and get like 4-5 packages of penne pasta and get some alfredo sauce about 4 jars and 2-3 packages of boneless chicken breasts!. You could get some fresh veggies to add in their if you wanted to as well!. Just cook up the pasta, grill the chicken in a large frying pan, mix up the sauce, throw it all together and eat!
