Can I freeze muffins?!

Question: Can I freeze muffins!?
I have baked muffins, but I was trying out a recipe and didn't realized it made so many!. Now I have all these muffins laying around and I was wondering if I could freeze my muffins for later!. If so, will they be the same once thawed!? What is the best way to freeze them!?

Thank you!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
You can freeze them, the consistency might be a little bit different after, but it should be fine!. I would just put them in plastic freezer bags, trying to get as much air out as possible!. There's more intense ways to do it, like with vacuuming sealing stuff, but this works fine for me!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

This is what I do with mine:

For your muffins: Wrap in plastic wrap and then in foil!. Place the muffins in an airtight container and freeze!. (Note: Quality decreases when they are frozen!. Suggested freezer storage time: 2 - 3 months!.)

You can take as many muffins out of the freezer as you want and do not unwrap until they are completely thawed!. They also may be reheated in foil (while frozen) in a 325 to 350 F oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until hot!.

i would have suggested that you freeze the batter in the future!.

for now you can give them away to friends!. or donate them to a homeless shelter/soup kitchenWww@FoodAQ@Com

Yes you can!. Honestly you can freeze just about anything!. I freeze bagels all the time and they stay fresh!. Same principle as muffins!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes you can freeze them but make sure they are air tight! Then just leave them on the bench to thaw for a few hours when you want them!Www@FoodAQ@Com
