Cookies for sale???????????????!
I started my own small business making iced cookies!. They are very detailed and they take about 2 days (depending on how many i have to make) they are not expensive but there is a lot of labor involved!. So i got my first gig next month and i'm a little torn on how much to charge!. The lady is a friend of my mother-in-law so i want to be nice about the price but then again i want her to tell people about me and i don't want to have to charge everyone that cheap!. So my question is do i give her a discount or do i charge her full price!? Or do i mention that i gave her a discount!. I add a poem a basket and i wrap them in a bag with a bow!. also how much do i charge!. they are $5 in stores and I was thinking $3!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

These are hand made with love and care!. Are you kidding me!? Charge the full price, this is a business you're running, not a discount store for friends of relatives!. You won't make any money giving them away!. Think of the time you spend!. How much an hour are you worth!? I would gladly pay the 5 bucks for your cookies, I know how long it takes to turn out something special!. Good luck to you hon!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
To start with I wil not price the cookies at less than $4!.00!. Now, you can give 25% discount to the friend of your mother-in law and sell her the cookies at $3!.00
So now we have it
Competition $5!.00
Your price $4!.00 or 20% below the competition
Promotional price $3!.00 25% below your set pricesWww@FoodAQ@Com

If you do choose to discount for her, make sure you let her know you did so and that XYZ is the regular price, so that when she tells other people about them, she can tell them what you will be charging THEM!. That is what I would do!Www@FoodAQ@Com
i think $5!.00 would be a good priceWww@FoodAQ@Com
