I'm 12 years old and for Parents 18th Anniversary, I really want to make dinner for them!. My family is pretty laid back, so nothing fancy, but were not dirt bags so no PB&J!. Like chicken or something!. My family likes chicken, pasta, pork, etc!. All Recipes Accepted!. Stove Available!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1 pound Ground turkey 1 medium Avocado
1 package Dry taco seasoning mix 1 can (12 oz) Refried Beans
1 medium Lettuce 1/2 cup Sour cream
2 cups Cheddar grated 1 small can Jalapeno peppers
1 can Black beans or red kidney beans -- OPTIONAL --
2 large Tomato diced 3 Scallion chopped
1 medium White onion Salsa
1 bag Tortilla shells 1 small can Corn

In a medium-sized skillet, brown the ground turkey with the taco seasoning mix over medium-high heat, stirring to break up the meat: drain and cool!. Heat beans in a saucepan on low to medium-low heat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Want to go all out and do something special!?

Buy pre-cooked chicken from your grocery store deli!.
Look for Chicken curry recipe on the internet!. (easy, I will give it to you but this answer will be tooooooo long - you can do this just the same)!.

Buy Naan!. Ask your grocer if not sure!.

Cook white rice!. Nothing fancy!. Just plain jane rice!.

Then, prepare the curry per instructions, stir in the precooked chicken!. Prepare salad, serve with wine!. Rice on the side!. Naan instead of white bread!. Really Exotic!.

Viola!.!.!.!.!! They will think you worked hard!. (which you did, but we know the secret right!?)

They will shower so much kisses on you (well, hey - they might as well show their love, and you accept - right!?)!. Yes, you will be smothered with affection!.

you can pound chicken!.(boneless ether breast or thigh)
dredge it in flour,salt pepper,dried oregano,Parmesan mix!.
dip it egg, fry it in pan with olive oil!.

boil pasta,put meat on bed of pasta!.
warm bottled tomato pasta sauce, pour over it!.

for 12 years old,I don't think necessary to make homemade tomato sauce!. you can make it, if you want!.
some bottled sauce taste just fine, so you can skip sauce making!.

boneless skinless chicken breasts marinated!. for marinade mix dales steak and chicken marinade with a little but of soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce, maybe a touch of BBQ sauce, seasoning salt, garlic, oregano, and any other seasonings you like!.!.!.just taste test!. wash chicken good and make small holes on both sides of eash piece!. mix up marinade and pour into large ziploc bag, add chicken!. marinate anywhere from one hour to overnight in the fridge, the longer the better!. place chicken in a glass casserole dish and pour in a small layer of the marinade(this will keep the chicken moist while baking)!. cook until middle of thickest portion is no longer pink, in a 350 degree oven!. if portions are really think increase temp to 375!.

for a side i would suggest long grain and wild rice(rice-a-roni brand is good) and a veggie of your choice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Bacon-Colby Lasagna

TIME: Prep: 20 min!. Bake: 45 min!. + standing

Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 pound sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
12 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
4 cups (16 ounces) shredded Colby cheese

Directions:
In a Dutch oven, cook beef and onions over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain!. Stir in the bacon, tomato sauce, tomatoes, sugar and salt; cook until heated through!.

Spread 1 cup meat sauce in a greased 13-in!. x 9-in!. x 2-in!. baking dish!. Layer four noodles, 1-2/3 cups meat sauce, 1-1/3 cups cheese in each dish!. Repeat layers twice!.

Cover and bake at 350° for 40 minutes!. Uncover; bake 5-10 minutes longer or until bubbly!. Let stand for 15 minutes before cutting!.

Lil Cheddar Meat Loaves

INGREDIENTS
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1 pound lean ground beef
2/3 cup ketchup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard

SERVINGS 8

DIRECTIONS
In a bowl, beat the egg and milk!. Stir in cheese, oats, onion and salt!. Add beef and mix well!. Shape into eight loaves; place in a greased 13-in!. x 9-in!. x 2-in!. baking dish!. Combine ketchup, brown sugar and mustard; spoon over loaves!.

Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45 minutes or until the meat is no longer pink and a meat thermometer reads 160°!.

Quick Cooking

Ingredients:
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 cup milk
1 package (6 ounces) stuffing mix
2 cups cubed cooked chicken breast
2 cups fresh broccoli florets, cooked
2 celery ribs, finely chopped
1-1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded Swiss cheese, divided

Directions:
In a large bowl, combine soup and milk until blended!. Add the stuffing mix with contents of seasoning packet, chicken, broccoli, celery and 1 cup cheese!. Transfer to a greased 13x9 dish!.

Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 20 minutes or until heated through!. Sprinkle with remaining cheese; bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted!. Yield: 8 servings!.
