5 lbs chicken wings
Louisiana hot sauce
Italian bread crumbs
blue cheese dressing
celery (cut into strips)

Preheat oven 350°F!.
Discard tips from wings!. Clean and marinate wings in hot sauce (at least 1 hour - overnight is best)!.

Empty wings and sauce into baking pan, sprinkle bread crumbs over top of wings!.

Bake at 350°F for about an hour (or just until wings are thoroughly done)!. Dip wings and celery into blue cheese dressing and enjoy!.

You want to cook the chicken first!. Bake the chicken in the oven at 375 degree's!. When the chicken is almost done, begin the sauce!.
In a large pot, place enough sauce and butter to allow the chicken to be submerged!. I use 1 stick of butter for every 12 oz!. of Texas Pete sauce!.

Add the chicken into the pot and heat on a low heat for several hours!. A small amount of bubbling should be noticable!. How long will decide how tender the chicken comes out!.

When your ready to eat, spoon the chicken out, noticing the tenderness of the meat and how it may separate from the bone!. Too long may make all of the chicken fall apart though (my wife likes the bigger pieces)!.

The original recipe:

4 to 5 Lbs Chicken wings
Freshly ground black pepper
Salt (if desired)
4 C Vegetable Oil
4 Tbs butter or margarine (1/2 stick)
5 Tbs Red Hot, Louisiana-brand hot sauce or Tabasco sauce
1 Tbs white wine vinegar

1!. Chop off the tip of each chicken wing, and discard it!. Chop the wing
in half (cutting at the joint) to make 2 pieces!. Grind on fresh black
pepper and sprinkle with salt if desired!.

2!. Heat the oil over high heat in a deep skillet, Dutch oven, or deep-fat
fryer until it starts to pop and sizzle (around 400 degrees F)!. Add
half the chicken wings and cook until they're golden and crisp,
stirring or shaking occasionally!. When done, remove them to drain on
paper towels and cook the remaining wings!.

3!. Melt the butter or margarine over medium heat in a heavy saucepan, add
the hot sauce and the 1 tablespoon of vinegar!. Stir well and remove from
the flame immediately!.

4!. Place the chicken on a warm serving platter, pour the sauce on top, and
serve

Ingredients
5 lbs chicken drummettes
cooking oil, for frying (I like Peanut)
1/2-1 cup butter, melted
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 packets dried Italian salad dressing mix
1 (8 ounce) bottle your favorite hot sauce
Directions
Thaw and deep fry chicken wings in oil!.
I usually cook 10-12 at a time in large skillet!.
Place on paper towels to absorb excess oil!.
Set cooked wings aside to cool to room temperature!.
Melt butter!.
Add lemon juice, Italian seasoning and hot sauce!.
Cool to room temp!.
Place cooled wings in gallon ziplock bags and add sauce!.
Seal and marinate for 1/2 hour to 24 hours!.
Place wings on baking sheets and cook at 325 for 15-20 minutes!.
You may reuse the leftover sauce for dipping if you reheat it to the boiling point!.
Good served w/ ranch dressing and veggie sticks!.
You can deep fry, add sauce and freeze for up to three weeks!.
Thaw then bake!.

Ingredients
12 whole chicken wings
2 tablespoons garlic salt
2 tablespoons black pepper
2 tablespoons cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons fresh Greek oregano leaves
2 cups Blue Cheese Dressing, recipe follows
Directions
Rinse the chicken wings under cold running water, then drain and blot dry completely with paper towels!. Place the wings in a large bowl and sprinkle with the garlic salt, pepper, cayenne, and oregano!. Season just 1 side of the wings for mild, or for hotter wings, turn the wings to coat the other side with seasonings and then cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 24 hours!.

Preheat a grill to medium-high!.

Grill chicken wings, turning once, until the juices run clear when pierced with a fork!. Serve immediately with a side of Blue Cheese Dressing!.

Blue Cheese Dressing:
1/4 pound blue cheese

1 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2/3 cup evaporated milk

1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

1/4 teaspoon celery seed

Blend all ingredients together in a food processor!. Transfer to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve!.
