If a recipe calls for Season Salt or Creole Seasoning, would it be ok to use Greek seasoning?!
I don't have Season salt or Creole seasoning!. Nor do I have the ingredients to make it from scratch!. I have Cavendar's Greek Seasoning, and I was wondering if it taste okay to use that instead!.

Yes, very!. That's why I stick to herbs and spices that aren't mixed!. It's so hard to be sure you have all the mixes!. I make my own and then ignore recipes' requirements!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Well, it certainly will have a unique and different flavor from the Creole seasoning but sure, try it!.!.!.!.!.!.!.you might love it so much that you will have created your own style and taste to your traditional stew! Complex Seasonings are great if you know exactly what's in them, and I use them all the time!. But, I also like balancing my own flavors of what I like and how much of each certain ingredient works well for my tastes!. So, create your own seasonings with what you have or try the Greek Seasoning, I don't think you can go wrong, either way!. Oh, and I'm not a fan of Seasoning Salt anyways, but that's just me!. Happy cooking on this wonderful Monday!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I wouldn't use Greek seasoning in place of seasoned salt or creole seasoning!.
Instead of either of those, use salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and a bit more red pepper for the Cajun seasoning!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Make home-made season salt! Use 2 tbsp!. paprika, 3!.5 tbsp!. salt and 1 tbsp chili powder!. You may omit the chili powder if you don't like a little kick!. I use that instead of the prepared stuff! :)Www@FoodAQ@Com
Absolutely!. I have used Greek Seasoning many times in place of seasoning salts!. It's one of my favorites!Www@FoodAQ@Com
