Hi!.!.!. My frying oil tends to foam up every time I fry something (containing flour)!.!.!. How can I prevent this!?!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
its my personal tip!.!.!.!.!.!.use some salt in oil when u fry!.!.!.!.!.NO FOAMS!!!!!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

The oil is too hot!. You can adjust or figure it out by putting a small amount of flour into the hot oil!. If it foams up, the temperature is too high!. Turn it down gradually until the flour quits reacting that way!. It's a delicate balance but once you have it down, it's a done deal!.

I want to pass this neat little trick on to you also!. If it is chicken, especially, or fish that you are going to be frying, let them soak in salt water in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before you coat them in flour and fry them!.!.!.yummy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

cook on a lower temp!. According to Alton Brown, if cooking fast, you will get the foam!.

I always use store brand, I have no problems with it!.

Just remember, don't cook on high!. cook on medium when frying!. Takes a little longer to get food done, but you won't have the foam!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you cant really its just the oil burning off the flour!.!.!.so!.!.!.you wind up with that crispy coating ;)
it can also be that the product contains a lot of water so if you can try to linit that as its not good for the oil cooking life!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Stop using home brand! Always remeber!.!.!.!.!.!.!. Quality not quantity!. Thats my motto,Www@FoodAQ@Com
