Is it ok to substitute bulghur wheat for cracked wheat? ?!

Question: Is it ok to substitute bulghur wheat for cracked wheat!? !?
I'm making a bread recipe, and it calls for both bulghur wheat and cracked wheat!. I'm wondering if I can just use bulghur wheat for both!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
yes!. they are both tiny bits of wheat!. they will both absorb the same amount of water!. the bulghur has been steamed and dried, but it doesn't mean much in the application you are using!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am a former chef and essentially they are the same thing, Bulgar is pre cooked or steamed so you can soak it to make dishes like tabbouleh, for cracked wheat just pour a bit of hot water over it and allow it to soak it up, and use the mash in the bread just omit about 1/4 cup of water from the recipe to compensate for the wet wheat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
