Can you cut up McD's chicken selects and use them for semi-homade sweet and sour chicken?!

Question: Can you cut up McD's chicken selects and use them for semi-homade sweet and sour chicken!?
Or just put them on top of crispy chicken salads you are making at home!? Ever done it!? Any other ideas to use them for!?

There is a McD's on my way home and sometimes I come home from work in the mood to cook lazily!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've never tried this, but I'm betting you can make it work!.

The wonderful thing about Sandra Lee's Semi-Homemade is the courage it gives us to try shortcuts on our own, don't you think!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sure you could!. The thing about doing that is that you don't really know what they're made of!. I'll betcha they are full of trans fats and other crap, things that you aren't taking into consideration when you are making food at home!. Why don't you just pick up a bag of those frozen (Tyson or other) chicken nugget things!? Or better yet, when you DO feel like cooking, fry up some boneless chicken breast pieces and freeze them to use later on in the week!. I guess if you don't care about those things they would be perfect for last minute meals!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yeah you can!. I've done it, they taste just fine!. I;ve also put them in chicken chow mein or some chinese dishes!.
They are just fine!.
Don't let them sit for more than a couple of days, then they get kinda nasty!.
Buy em and use them that night or the following day at the latest

you could but that would get expensive after awhile!. next time you are grocery shopping pick up a bag of tyson chicken strips!. you can nuke them and they're better than mcdonalds!. 60sec is the microwave is hardly cookingWww@FoodAQ@Com

I think you could!. Sweet and sour chicken , or the topping of a nice salad!. Try it, and let me know!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sure you can but it costs a lot more than if you just buy frozen chicken tenders at the supermarket!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i use the chicken selects (strips) for my salad, but i havnt used nuggs for chinese!.!.!.maybe ill give it a tryWww@FoodAQ@Com
