Can I substitute almond meal for ground pecans?!

Question: Can I substitute almond meal for ground pecans!?
I think I made a mistake earlier!. The recipe I have called for ground pecans!. I looked that up online, and it seems that what I am looking for is pecan meal!. Well, I don't have a nut grinder or a blender or food processor, so I tried to find pecan meal or pecan flour!. I couldn't find it, but I did find almond meal/flour!. Will that work instead of ground pecans!?

Thanks for all of your help so far!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
