How can I make really good stove top popcorn?!


Question: How can I make really good stove top popcorn!?
So, I've discovered that stove top popcorn tastes a lot better than microwave, so I was wondering, how can I make it taste better!? I used roughly 1/4th a cup of canola oil and just white kernels, over a medium heat on a ga grill, but the seeds go kind of burned!. Tips!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I was watching the food network channel the other night!. Alton Brown was make popcorn and his popcorn looked SOOOOO good I could almost taste it through the tv!. He used a big bowl to pop it in on the stove!. Here is his recipe!. I hope that it helps!.

Use yellow popcorn for a more tender pocorn!.

Heat the oil first then add the popcorn!. When one kernal pop's cover adn keept the pot move all around the burner!. I do okay but my hubby is the real pro!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

when you start to hear popping, start to shake the pan with the lid on it!. And then add seasonings at the end!. There are lots of options!. Herbs, spices, but i have to admit that i like the ready-made seasonings the best!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is not healthy, but it is really good!. Use bacon grease for the oil! And don't forget to shake the pan over the heat to keep the popped corn from burning!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You have to keep the pot in constant agitation in order to avoid the burned kernels!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
