Help with mixing food coloring for a cake [What colors make other colors]?!
I have Red, green, yellow and blue!.
I'm making a cake with the colors brown and pink in them!.!.
So if I just mix the red with the icing, it's pink!.!.
But, How do I make brown!?!?

add cocoa to icing sugar - or Parisian essence - you could get a close to brown with colours but cocoa more commonWww@FoodAQ@Com
Just the standard color wheel that you learned in elementary school:) Red, Blue and Yellow are primary colors!. If you blend them, you get secondary colors: Red & blue = purple; blue & yellow = green; yellow & red = orange!. Adding a little more of a primary color will make a different shade of the secondary color!. The only reason you ended up with pink icing, is because the liquid colors from the grocery store are watered down, and you mixed red with white frosting!. !.!.!. It's best to buy little jars of food coloring paste, which comes in 100s of different colors, including shades of brown!. They're cheap, last for years, and available at all craft stores (even Walmart) in the cake decorating section!.!.!.!.!.!. You can try a drop of all of the colors to get brown, but it will really just be a disgusting mess!. Why not mix some cocoa powder or chocolate syrup instead!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
