Do you use an egg in your breadmaking?!

Question: Do you use an egg in your breadmaking!?
What does bread taste like without the egg!? Is it really necessary to include an egg for simple bread!? And lastly, could powder egg replace egg in the recipe, when egg is called for!?
ThanksWww@FoodAQ@Com

I have baked several types of bread in my recently bought bread maker and not one of them had egg in it!. So I guess you do not need an egg!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Personally, I don't think it is necessary - just the usual flour, yeast and water + a little butter!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

There is no egg in a simple white bread recipe (or whole wheat)!. There are eggs in egg bread or specialty sweet breads!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
