Answers:
1 oz!. butter
1 oz!. flour
1 pint heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
1 clove minced garlic
white pepper to taste


Mix butter & flour over medium-low heat a minute or two - don't brown
In a separate pan bring cream just to a boil & add the butter/flour mixture to thicken!.
Add pepper to taste & garlic, simmer over low heat a few minutes stirring constantly!. This gets rid of the flour taste!.
Add the parmesan cheese & stir gently till melted!.
Be careful not to stir in any burned stuff off the bottom of the pan!.

ALFREDO SAUCE FOR PASTA

2 tbsp!. butter
1 c!. light cream
1/2 c!. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
1/2 tsp!. black pepper
1/2 tsp!. garlic powder

Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat!. Add cream and heat until mixture just starts to bubble!. Stir in grated cheese, a little at a time, until it is all melted!. Season to taste and reduce heat!. Let sauce simmer for 10-15 minutes, until desired thickness is reached!. Served over any cooked pasta!. Serves 2!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

ALFREDO SAUCE

1 pt!. cream or half & half
1 1/2 oz!. butter
1 1/2 oz!. flour for paste
White pepper
Salt
Italian noodles (any type)
1/2 c!. Parmesan cheese (fresh grated)
1 c!. young peas (optional)
1 sm!. jar sliced mushrooms (optional)

In pan, warm cream!. Do not boil!. Add white pepper and salt to taste to the warm cream!. In separate pan, melt butter!. Remove butter from heat; add flour for paste!. Add flour mixture to cream!. While cream is warming, boil noodles until half cooked!. Strain noodles and add cream sauce!. Boil until noodles are done!. Add Parmesan cheese to thicken!.

When using optional ingredients, add them while the noodles are cooking completely!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I use Philadelphia creme cheese (or creme cheese in general), half and half, butter and Parmesan cheese!.

On low heat put about 1/2 of half and half and butter in a sauce pot!. Add a broken up pattie of creme cheese (8 ounces) keeping it all on low heat!. Turn up the heat and add about 3/4 cup to 1 cup of grated Parmesan!. Stir to thickness!. (Add pepper and salt to taste) Www@FoodAQ@Com

melt 1 stick butter, add about 1/2 cup flour, whisk over low heat for 2-3 minutes, add 3 cups milk, turn up to medium heat & continue to whisk when it starts to thicken, turn back down to low and add shredded parmesean and/or romano cheese!.
