around 40 minutes!.!.!. no more than an hour if you want it really softWww@FoodAQ@Com

Regardless of how it is cooked, chicken should be cooked until it's internal temperature reaches 165 degrees!. You can remove the chicken when it reaches 160, and let it sit, covered with foil, for about 5 to 10 minutes, because carry-over cooking will continue and it will reach 165!.

Everybody should have an "instant-read" meat thermometer in their kitchen, you can find models that don't cost very much, and they really work well!. Be sure to test the temperature at a very thick portion of meat!.

If by chance you don't have a meat thermometer, then you can instead cut into a thick portion of the chicken, or into a thick joint, and the liquids should run clear, and there should not be any "pinkness" to the meat!.

Anyway, it depends on the sizes of the pieces you are boiling!. It could take anywhere from half an hour to an hour!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
