Yes you can!. I saw Paula Deen do this last week!. Put about 1 1/2 inches of vegetable oil in a pan heat medium heat, when oil begins to ripple the oil is ready!. Cut a donut size hole in the middle of each biscuit and carefully drop into the oil cook about 2 minutes or until lightly browned, turn and cook the other side!. Remove with a stainless steel slotted spoon, place on paper towels and top with frosting or roll in sugar, or cinnamon and sugar!. Super Simple!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

BAKED SUGAR DONUTS

Ingredients:

1 can (7!.5 oz) Pillsbury? refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1/3 cup sugar

Directions:

1!. Heat oven to 375°F!.

2!. Separate dough into 10 biscuits; flatten each to a 2 1/2-inch round!. With 1-inch round biscuit cutter, cut hole in center of each round!. Dip all sides of biscuits and centers into butter, then into sugar!. Place on ungreased cookie sheet!.

3!. Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown!.

NOTE: High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Bake 10 to 12 minutes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes you need to get your oil hot and then open a can of biscuits, poke a hole in the middle of the biscuit and place into the oil!. When the donut gets brown, flip over until both sides are brown!. Remove from the oil and place on paper towels to drain!. You can then place them in sugar or even frost them with icing!. Melt a can of cake icing in the microwave until thin and pour over the donuts, add sprinkles or whatever items you want !.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, but it's alot easier to use can biscuit's!. make a hole in the middle, drop them into hot grease until puffed up and golden!. Take out to drain, sprinkle with powdered sugar, glaze or whatever you want!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

OH YEAH!!! You have a choice to make though- break a hole in the middle- or you can make donut holes along with your donuts- I fill the donut holes with jam!. Tasty!Www@FoodAQ@Com
